Past Perfect,Future Tense (Genre - Life & Living)

Its so amazing that when someone utters some innocent sounding words, it sometimes leaves such a profound impact on people. Well something like that happened to me - when someone innocently corrected my grammar -  It seemed to decipher life's grammar in my head. It got my head spinning for a couple of days and seemed to put into perspective what and how we see life. It got me involved enough to pen a poem on my thoughts...


Past Perfect, Future Tense

When a lady corrected my lame grammar sense,
she said its Past Perfect and not Future Tense.
In innocence she uttered such profound words,
it seemed so apt for life, seemingly unheard.
Our mind tells us, what happened is for the good,
Past was perfect, an imperfect lifes soul food.
With its unpredictability we are tensed about the future,
unknowingly its our fears that we care to nurture.
The future cannot be controlled, neither can the past,
the wise men have always said that, they all seem type cast.
But in all the past and the future, our present we forget,
its something once lost, we will never again - get.
Its so easy to forget what we have in our hand,
its OUR today, make it memorable and possibly grand.
Thats the way to enjoy life in its full glory,
a precursor to life's perfect past, a life without worry.
So for a happy life we control our "Present Sense",
stop living in the "Past Perfect" or "Future Tense".
