Happy Friendship Day !!

Three people who set the tone on this sunday morning were MF Hussain, Shruti Hassan and Osho ...hmm strange mix of eclectic and exotic people contributing to my thoughts. Its interesting that the human mind reads and believes what it wants to selectively and then rationalizes these thoughts to suite ones current state of mind ... fascinating isnt it !!

Osho states that " Life is like a rainbow, it carries all the colours and you go moving from one colour to another. It carries all the extremes, all the opposites - from pleasure you move to pain, from pain you move to pleasure. If pain goes on for too long, you may even start getting pleasure out of it (thats dangerous dude ... !! ). If pleasure lasts too long, you will start getting pain out of it. Both are states of excitement ...both are fevers "

Shruti on Karma and Kismat(fate) - She believes in karma and the saying what goes around comes around and true contentment can only be found within onself - no need to look for answers anywhere, they are inside you somewhere.

So, when I was wondering what to make out of this profound thoughts and how to comprehend the meaning of it and why my mind chose to register them.... I read MF Hussains thought "Live 10 minutes at a time" and there ended the debate.

In essence pleasure, pain, karma, contentment, life, death are too complicated to handle for me and living 10 minutes at a time ... made the most sense !
